Prepping for Kazakhstan

Today Sandy and I spent a good part of our Saturday preparing for our trip to Kazkhstan. I'm really excited to get out there again. Two years ago I went out there and spoke on 2 topics. We presented at a university in Almaty called Kimep. I spoke on Project Based Learning / Multiple Inteligences and on the Ethical Use of Technology in Education. This year I will be sharing information on what teachers in the U.S. are expected to learn (in the teacher credentialling program) regarding the use of technology in the classroom. I will also be teaching simple web design and discuss the educational implications of this resource as well.
